I love Christmas. Everything about it. Fresh fallen snow, elaborate wrappings and trimmings, the quiet, warm atmosphere of a twinkling tree, time with family and friends, hot chocolate…you name it, I love it. Add Christmas to New York City, and you’ve got a pretty magical place.
This week I had the pleasure of taking a personal day and bumming around the city, enjoying the crisp air and less crowded streets of Tuesday afternoon in Manhattan. I perused some shops, tried an “adventurous” espresso, viewed some super cool art by Ronnie Wood for the Rolling Stones collection at the Broome Street Gallery, made my first pass by the Rockefeller tree this year and finally tried the Frozen Hot Chocolate at Serendipity. Hard to beat a day of all that.
So here we have it, a day-in-the-city inspired winter wishes and moments post. Enjoy!
