This Summer has timed itself with a season of change in my life in a number of areas. I started a new job, had some new roommates move in and others move away, and lost two very dear family members. Whether your Summer has been as life-altering as mine has, it always feels good to hit refresh when Fall comes around.
In her article along a similar train of thought, Jill Kargman refers to Fall as her “New Year”. Her no-nonsense writing cracks me up and her love of Fall really resonates with me (read it in today’s Goop issue). In celebration of my own fresh start, I conjured up a new little logo to replace my outdated, college portfolio attempt at marketing myself. Cheers to new beginnings, and to having memories of the past as we leave it behind.
When does your “New Year” start?
